From Rwanda, With Passion
Connecting the thousand hills of Rwanda with the coffee lovers of Scandinavia and Poland
Our Mission
Ibacoffee was born from a simple belief: that the extraordinary coffee grown by Rwandan farmers deserves to be shared with the world — and that those farmers deserve fair compensation for their craft.
We work directly with cooperatives in the Western Province, particularly around Lake Kivu and the Nyungwe Forest region. By eliminating unnecessary middlemen, we ensure that more of your money reaches the people who actually grow the coffee.
Our focus on the Scandinavian and Polish markets comes from a shared appreciation for quality, transparency, and sustainability. We understand that roasteries in Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland demand consistency, traceability, and exceptional cup profiles — and we deliver exactly that.
Our Journey
The story of how we built bridges between Rwanda and Europe
— The Beginning
Founded in Poland after meeting farmers on the shores of Lake Kivu Rwanda. Our first export: 2 tonnes of Bourbon to a roastery in Poland.
— First Partnerships
Established direct trade relationships with Rwandan cooperatives. Expanding to Sweden and Norway. Achieved first SCA 85+ scoring lot.
— Entering Poland
Opened our European logistics hub in GDansk. Partnered with 5 Polish roasteries. Introduced our signature Virunga Espresso Blend.
— Growth & Recognition
Doubled our farmer network. Participated at " The African Coffee" at the Nordic Roaster Forum. Launched our wholesale program.
— Sustainability Focus
Implemented carbon-neutral shipping to Europe. All partner cooperatives certified organic. Introduced women-producer micro-lots.
— Today
Serving roasteries across Scandinavia and Poland. Directly impacting 2,000+ farming families. Committed to even greater quality and impact.
